Abstract:
Provided is an on-vehicle device capable of further improving safety for a passenger riding in a vehicle. An on-vehicle device 1 for controlling locking of a vehicle door D includes a passenger detecting part for detecting a passenger in a vehicle C, a closed door determining part for determining whether the vehicle door D is closed, and a locking control part for locking the vehicle door D when the closed door determining part determines that the vehicle door D is closed, and the passenger detecting part detects the passenger. Since the vehicle door D is locked, it is possible, for example, to prevent a third party from breaking into the vehicle C through the vehicle door D, and to further improve safety for the passenger riding in the vehicle C.
