Abstract:
In the present invention, a vehicle management ECU (2) comprises a diagnosis unit (9b) for diagnosing electronic control units (5, 6) that are to be diagnosed according to a diagnosis scenario defined by a diagnosis application, and a diagnosis scenario determination unit (9c) for determining whether a diagnosis scenario used for diagnosis by the diagnosis unit was appropriate. If the diagnosis scenario determination unit specifies that the diagnosis scenario used for the current diagnosis has been inappropriate, the diagnosis unit carries out diagnosis according to a diagnosis scenario defined by a new diagnosis application different from the current diagnosis application.
