Abstract:
A vehicle display apparatus (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a display unit (10); and a reflection member (30). The reflection member (30) reflects display light (X) from the display unit (10). The display unit (10) makes the display light (X) incident as an S-polarized light on the reflection member (30). The reflection member (30) is positioned on the incident optical path of the display light (X) from the display unit (10) to the reflection surface of the window shield (Y) of a vehicle (V) or the transmission optical path of a transmission light transmitted through the reflection surface. The reflection member (30) reflects linearly-polarized incident light as circularly-polarized reflected light. The vehicle display apparatus (1) guides the display light reflected on the window shield (Y) by the reflection member (30) to an eye-box.
