Abstract:
This vehicle display control device is for controlling a head-up display (230) that is used in a vehicle and superimposes and displays a virtual image for emphasizing an object in the view in front of the vehicle by projecting a display image onto a projection member (10). The vehicle display control device comprises: a distance and direction acquisition unit (201) for acquiring a detected distance and detected direction from a probing wave sensor (42) for detecting the distance and direction of an object using probing waves; a high-precision map acquisition unit (203) for acquiring a high-precision map including point-by-point height information; a three-dimensional position identification unit (204) for using the distance, direction, and high-precision map to identify the three-dimensional position of the object in relation to the vehicle; and a display control unit (207) for causing a virtual image for emphasizing the object to be superimposed and displayed according to the three-dimensional position of the object in relation to the vehicle.
