Abstract:
A vehicle display control device to be used in display units (17, 30) and in a vehicle provided with an infrared camera (22) and a visible-light-camera connection part (20) capable of having a visible-light camera (21) attached thereto and detached therfrom, the vehicle display control device being equipped with: a target detection unit (18) for detecting an external target on the basis of an infrared image from the infrared camera; an overlap-region detection unit (18) for detecting an overlap region between the infrared image and a visible-light image captured by the visible-light camera; and a display-image determination unit (11) for transmitting part of the visible-light image to the display unit as a display image. Furthermore, the display-image determination unit produces the display image by overlapping and displaying target information on the visible-light image, when the target is present within the range of the overlap region.
