Abstract:
A vehicle display device according to the present invention includes: an image display panel (10) that displays images (14, 15, 16, 17) in a display area (DA); a backlight (20) that irradiates the display area with light from the rear side; and a plate-like light-transmitting plate (40) that is disposed between the image display panel and the backlight and that transmits the light from the backlight. The light-transmitting plate has a three-dimensional indicator (50) that is formed so as to be viewable through the image display panel, and the peripheral outline (46) of the light-transmitting plate is formed on the outer side of the display area. With the vehicle display device described above, because a viewer views the images displayed on the image display panel and the three-dimensional indicator seen through the image display panel, display with a stereoscopic effect is realized.
