Abstract:
This vehicle display system (10) comprises an external camera (15), a composite image generation unit (33), a display device (21), and a display control unit (39). The external camera (15) captures an image of a predefined area outside a vehicle (1). The composite image generation unit (33) combines predefined information with the image captured by the external camera (15) to generate a composite image. The display device (21) is provided at a predefined part of the windshield (27) of the vehicle (1) and can switch between a light transmissive state and a light non-transmissive state. The display control unit (39) causes the display device (21) in the light non-transmissive state to display the composite image generated by the composite image generation unit (33).
