Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle door opening/closing device whereby the operation feeling during opening and closing of a vehicle door can be enhanced, and opening and closing of a vehicle door can be driven. A vehicle door opening/closing device (1) is provided with: an outside door handle (4) provided to a power sliding door (3) for opening and closing a door opening (8) provided in a vehicle body (9), the outside door handle (4) being supported so as to be able to move between an initial position (A) and a maximum movement position (B) in relation to the power sliding door (3), and being operated in order to open and close the power sliding door (3); a spring unit (40) for urging the outside door handle (4) to move from the maximum movement position (B) to the initial position (A); an opening/closing operation detection unit (50) for detecting movement of the outside door handle (4) from the maximum movement position (B) to the initial position (A); a door drive mechanism for driving the opening and closing of the power sliding door (3); and a control unit (10) for actuating the door drive mechanism on the basis of a detection signal outputted from the opening/closing operation detection unit (50).
