Abstract:
A vehicle door is provided with a door (2) which opens and closes a door opening in the vehicle and a door beam (3) which is provided within the door (2). The door beam (3) is provided with: joining points (3c-3e) which are joined to the door (2); a fundamental cross-section edge (3i) which extends in the direction of extension of the door beam (3), on the outside of the joining points (3c-3e) in the width direction (vertical direction) of the door beam (3); an extension section (3j) which protrudes outward from the fundamental cross-section edge (3i); and a locating hole (3k) which is used to position the door beam (3) when joining the door beam (3) to the door (2). The locating hole (3k) is formed in the extension section (3j).
