Abstract:
To address the problem of making it possible to alert a driver even when an obstacle is located in a vehicle blind spot, the provided vehicle drive assist system, vehicle drive assist method, and vehicle drive assist program are equipped with a display unit for displaying an alert image (MC) so as to be superimposed on actual scenery, and a blind spot region determination unit for determining a blind spot region (AB), which is a region where a front obstacle (B) present to the front of the vehicle in the direction of travel is located in a blind spot of the vehicle (100) driver. The display unit displays the alert image MC so as be superimposed on a target location (PB), which is the location where there is a possibility that the vehicle (100) travel may be affected if a moving obstacle (MO) suddenly emerges from the blind spot region (AB).
