Abstract:
There is a demand for a vehicle drive device wherein the ease with which the pinion gears are assembled can be improved. Therefore, in this vehicle drive device (1) a linking member (10) is equipped with: a first member (M1) that supports the pinion gears (P) from one side in the axial direction (X); a second member (M2) that is affixed to the first member (M1) and supports the pinion gears (P) from the other side in the axial direction (X); and an opening part (OG) formed in the first member (M1) or the second member (M2). The pinion gears (P) engage a first transmission gear (S1) or a second transmission gear (S2) through the opening part (OG).
