Abstract:

This vehicle drive device (100) is provided with a rotating electric machine (1), an inverter (6), and a case (7). The case (7) is provided with a body portion (71) and a cover portion (72). The body portion (71) houses the rotating electric machine (1) and at least a part of the inverter (6). The cover portion (72) is joined to the body portion (71) so as to cover the opening portion (710) of the body portion (71). The inverter (6) is provided with a cooler (C), a first unit (61) fixed to the cooler (C) so as to be along a first reference surface (FR1), and a second unit (62) fixed to the cooler (C) so as to be along a second reference surface (FR2). The cooler (C) is fixed to the body portion (71).
