Abstract:
A vehicle drive device (1) comprises: a rotary electric machine (10) having a stator (11) and a rotor (12); a power transmission mechanism (20) drivingly coupled to the rotor (12); a differential device (30) having a differential ring gear (31), a differential case (32), and a differential mechanism (33); and a case (50). The case (50) has a partition wall (54) disposed between the rotary electric machine (10) and the differential device (30), and the partition wall (54) has, in a portion in which the distance between a stator core (14) and the differential device (30) is shortest, an opening (54a) that is open so as to expose the stator core (14) partially to the differential device (30) side.
