Abstract:
The present invention relates to drive force control for a vehicle provided with a transmission for transmitting the rotation of the power source to the drive wheels by continuously variable gear-shifting. A target drive force is computed according to the vehicle accelerator pedal opening angle and a target transmission input rotation speed is determined on the basis of the target drive force. A target transmission input torque for the power source is also determined on the basis of the target drive force and a target vehicle deceleration drive force is calculated on the basis of the vehicle driving state. A target deceleration transmission input rotation speed is also calculated on the basis of the target deceleration drive force and the target non-deceleration transmission input rotation speed is corrected on the basis of the target deceleration transmission input rotation speed. As a result, the drop in transmission input rotation speed that occurs near the boundary between the drive region and the deceleration region is prevented.
