Abstract:
A vehicle driving apparatus provided with a transmission device including a brake mechanism is provided with a first case member having a peripheral wall (21), and a second case member having a support wall (31) arranged along the peripheral wall (21). A first engaging part (42) is provided to an outer friction plate (41), and a first engaged part (33) that engages with the first engaging part (42) is provided to the support wall (31). The support wall (31) has cutouts (32), and the peripheral wall (21) has second engaged parts (22) in locations in the circumferential direction that correspond to the cutouts (32). Second engaging parts (43) that engage with the second engaged parts (22) are also provided to the outer friction plate (41).
