Abstract:
A motor control device having first inverter device, a second inverter device, and a cooling unit is arranged compactly on the upper side of a case of a vehicle driving apparatus (1). A motor control device (5) has: an inverter unit (6) having a first inverter device (IN1), a second inverter device (IN2), and a cooling unit (CL); and a smoothing capacitor (CN). The inverter unit (6) and the smoothing capacitor (CN) are arranged side by side in a vehicular longitudinal direction (D) on the upper side (H1) of a case (CS). With the member arranged in the highest position in the area of the case (CS) that overlaps the motor control device (5) being designated as a highest arranged member (7), whichever is thinner in the vehicular height direction (H) among the inverter unit (6) and the smoothing capacitor (CN) is arranged above the highest arranged member (7).
