Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of reducing the size and weight of a vehicle drive wheel apparatus that comprises a torque difference-amplifying mechanism by reducing the size of the torque difference-amplifying mechanism. The vehicle-driving apparatus is provided with a gearing device, which is provided between electric motors (2L, 2R) with outer rotors (5) and the left and right drive wheels and in which two 3-element, 2-degree of freedom planetary gear mechanisms (3L, 3R) are combined on the same axis, and is characterized in: comprising input internal gears (RL, RR) that are coupled to the outer rotors (5) of the electric motors (2L, 2R), output planet carriers (CL, CR) provided on the same axis as the internal gears (RL, RR), sun gears (SL, SR) provided on the same axis as the internal gears (RL, RR), and planet gears (PL, PR) as revolving gears; disposing on the same axis a first linking member (31) for linking one of the planet carriers (CL) of the two planetary gear mechanisms (3L, 3R) with the other sun gear (SR) and a second linking member (32) for linking the one sun gear (SL) with the other planet carrier (CR); and coupling the planet carriers (CL, CR) of the planetary gear mechanisms (SL, SR) with the output gear shafts (14L, 14R) of the drive wheels.
