Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle driving force control device which is easy to handle without the increased change in passenger posture that accompanies operation of a handlebar grip. A vehicle driving force control device for operating a handlebar grip (8) attached to a motorcycle (1) and controlling the driving force (K) of an engine (E), wherein the handlebar grip (8) is provided with: a strain gauge (30) as a torsional force detection means non-rotatably fixed to the handlebar (5) of the motorcycle (1), the strain gauge (30) detecting forward and reverse torsional force (N) exerted on the handlebar grip (8); and a control unit (50) for controlling the driving force (K) on the basis of the detected torsional force (N). The control unit (50) controls the driving force (K) in a direction in which the driving force (K) is increased in accordance with forward torsional force (N). The control unit (50) controls the driving force (K) of the engine (E) in the direction in which the driving force (K) is gradually reduced when the torsional force (N) is not detected during generation of the driving force (K).
