Abstract:
This vehicle failure diagnosis apparatus is provided with: device control units (117-119, 140) that output control signals to respective on-vehicle devices, on the basis of a target motion set by a target motion setting unit (101) on the basis of inputs from respective sensors (70-76); and a device failure diagnosis unit (150) that is provided between the respective on-vehicle devices and the device control units (117-119, 140) disposed on communication paths of an arithmetic device (100), wherein the device failure diagnosis unit (150) has, for each function of a vehicle, a device diagnosis table identifying an on-vehicle device associated with said function, and diagnoses a failure of the on-vehicle devices on the basis of outputs of the on-vehicle devices and the device diagnosis tables.
