Abstract:
The present invention distributes the load on a power unit in a vehicle width direction at the time of a center pole collision. A vehicle front-end structure S1 that comprises a left-right pair of front side members 10, a bumper RF 20, and a power unit 30. The bumper RF 20 has: a first give point part 20A that is on one vehicle-width-direction side of the vehicle-width-direction center of the vehicle; and a second give point part 20B that is on the other vehicle-width-direction side. The first give point part 20A is a section that has a lower bending resistance than other sections so as to give first at the time of a center pole collision, and the second give point part 20B is a section that has a lower bending resistance than other sections but a higher bending resistance than the first give point part 20A. The bumper RF 20 includes a bumper RF body 22 that has a closed cross-section structure and a support member 24 (a cross-section collapse prevention member) that is provided inside the bumper RF body 22 at the vehicle-width-direction center of the vehicle.
