Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle front structure that, when an impacting object impacts a bumper cover from in front of the vehicle, can reduce the maximum load acting on the impacting object. In said vehicle front structure (10), when the impacting object (36) impacts the bumper cover (12) from in front of the vehicle, a force is input to a grill body (20B) of a radiator grill (20) from in front of the vehicle. As a result, a rotating weak part (20F), provided between a fixed section (20A) of the radiator grill (20) and the grill body (20B), bends, and the grill body (20B) rotates toward a rearward bend-back position. During the course of said rotation, a contact section (20D) provided on the radiator grill (20) contacts a bumper reinforcement (32). This causes the load acting on the impacting object (36) to start increasing, but when said contact causes a contact-side weak part (20E) to bend, the contact section (20D) folds, releasing the aforementioned contact.
