Abstract:

Provided is a vehicle gate monitor provided with a gate to which a group of detectors are attached, and a control unit that determines whether there is a contaminated area on the basis of results of detection performed by the group of detectors while the gate is moved relative to a vehicle at rest, the group of detectors being made up of: a first detector disposed so as to be capable of moving in the upward, downward, left and right directions relative to the position of the vehicle to measure the amounts of radiation on both side surfaces of the vehicle; a second detector disposed so as to be capable of rotating and moving in the upward, downward, left and right directions relative to the position of the vehicle to measure the amounts of radiation on the front surface, the rear surface, the top surface, and the cargo bed surface of the vehicle; and a third detector disposed so as to be capable of moving in the upward, downward, right and left directions relative to the position of the vehicle to measure the amount of radiation on the inner side surface of the cargo bed.
