Abstract:

This vehicle height adjustment device is provided with: a rear suspension which has a support member that changes the length of a rear wheel-side suspension spring; a solenoid valve control unit which, if the weight applied to the vehicle is greater than or equal to a prescribed weight, sets a target movement amount on the basis of the correlation between the target movement amount and the weight at which the target movement amount reaches an upper limit value, and which performs control such that the actual amount of movement of the support member becomes the target movement amount; and a weight estimation unit. The solenoid valve control unit sets the target movement amount on the basis of a temporary value of the weight. If the actual length of the rear suspension does not reach the target length even when the actual movement amount reaches the target movement amount, then the weight estimation unit increases the temporary value; if the new target movement amount, corresponding to the new temporary value, reaches the upper limit value even though the temporary value has been increased, then the solenoid valve control unit decreases the target length. The weight estimation unit estimates the weight as the temporary value when the final actual length has reached the target length.
