Abstract:
A vehicle illumination control device (10) comprising a detection unit (21) and a light control unit (22). The detection unit (21) detects a target object present outside a low beam illumination range for a vehicle (100), by using a device such as a far infrared camera. The light control unit (22) illuminates the range in which a target object detected by the detection unit (21) is present, by using a marking light (35) capable of illuminating to a greater distance than the low beam. As a result, a driver can recognize the target object.
