Abstract:
A vehicle control device (10) comprising a light control unit (22), a first detection unit (23), and a second detection unit (24). The first detection unit (23) detects a target object present outside a low beam illumination range for a vehicle (100), by using a far infrared camera (31). The second detection unit (24) detects the position of the target object detected by the first detection unit (23), by using a distance measurement sensor (321) that measures distance using a laser. A light control unit (22) illuminates the position of the target object detected by the second detection unit (24) by using a marking light (35) capable of illuminating further than low beam.
