Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle image display apparatus which corrects the display position in response to the inclination of a vehicle body with respect to the road surface. The control unit 10 of this vehicle image display apparatus (HUD) 100 calculates the amount of change in the inclination in the lateral direction (roll direction) and/or longitudinal direction (pitch direction) of the vehicle body with respect to the road surface from vehicle information 50 obtained by devices installed in the vehicle. More particularly, the amount of change in the inclination of the vehicle body before and after a driver gets into the vehicle is calculated. Then the inclination of the vehicle image display apparatus 100 mounted in the vehicle is corrected by an HUD rotating unit 32 so as not to cause a change in the display state of a virtual image to be displayed to the driver.
