Abstract:
When a vehicle-side system 4 receives configuration information pertaining to the configuration of a plurality of ECUs 19 from the respective ECUs 19, the vehicle-side system 4 generates a hash value based on data values for a plurality of items of configuration information, and transmits the hash value to a central device 3. The central device 3 comprises an individual vehicle information database 113, and compares the hash value transmitted by the vehicle-side system 4 with the hash value from the vehicle configuration information stored in the individual vehicle information database 113, and requests the vehicle-side system 4 to transmit "Configuration Information ALL" if the hash values do not match. The vehicle-side system 4 receives the aforementioned transmission and transmits the "Configuration Information ALL" to the central device 3, and when the central device 3 receives the "Configuration Information ALL", the central device 3 updates the configuration information stored in the individual vehicle database 113 on the basis of the data values of the "Configuration Information ALL".
