Abstract:
A vehicle information provision device (S) is provided with: a travel history storage unit (26) that sequentially acquires and stores travel position information, power consumption information, and charging facility information from a device (1) that is mounted to a vehicle (A); an input unit (22) for a destination point and the like into which a departure point and a destination point are input; a history statistical processing unit (27) that searches for a presentation route that is similar to a planned route; a map storage unit (261) that stores a map in which a route between charging facilities that connects two discretionary charging facilities and a characteristic value that correlates with the power consumed by an electric motor when the vehicle (A) travels the route between charging facilities are associated; and a charging necessity determination unit that determines whether it is necessary for the vehicle to stop in at a charging facility. When it is determined that it is necessary for the vehicle (A) to stop in at a charging facility, the history statistical processing unit consults the map and selects a combination of routes between charging facilities.
