Abstract:
A vehicle inspection system comprising: a radiation source (152) for providing X-rays; a detector (153) used for receiving the X-rays; an inspection channel (101), where a scanner device frame (80) is arranged within the range of the inspection channel, the radiation source (152) is arranged on top of the scanner device, and the detector (153) is arranged at a position corresponding to the radiation source; and, a conveyor system (100), which comprises a first conveyor apparatus (111) and a second conveyor apparatus (112) sequentially arranged in a direction in which a vehicle is conveyed. In the direction in which the vehicle is conveyed, the first conveyor apparatus is arranged upstream of the second conveyor apparatus and a spacing part (113) is arranged between the first conveyor apparatus and the second conveyor apparatus, thus allowing the first conveyor apparatus and the second conveyor apparatus to be spaced apart by a predetermined distance in the direction in which the vehicle is conveyed. At least a portion of a path of the radiations of the radiation source runs through the spacing part between the first conveyor apparatus and the second conveyor apparatus. The first conveyor apparatus and the second conveyor apparatus each comprise a support plate (1111), an elongated traction element (114), and a pusher element (1141) connected to the elongated traction element. The elongated traction element and the pusher element of the first conveyor apparatus and the elongated traction element and the pusher element of the second conveyor apparatus are continuous and integral. The elongated traction elements and the pusher elements extend through the spacing part. The support plate of the first conveyor apparatus and the support plate of the second conveyor apparatus are separated and segmented. No support plate is provided above the spacing part.
