Provided is a vehicle instrument scale switching control method that can prevent misreading and provide display with a high level of safety. When making a transition to a vehicle information display for a scale B from a scale A, luminescent display of the scale pertaining to the vehicle information display for the scale B is initiated after luminescent display of the scale pertaining to the vehicle information display for the scale A is stopped.
