Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a vehicle instrument which has a high degree of flexibility in design and is slimmer as a whole and with which it is possible to amplify sound pressure at a low-frequency domain or at the output sound fundamental frequency. A vehicle instrument 1 according to the present invention includes: a dial 2; a circuit board 6 that is provided on the rear surface of the dial 2 and has a rear surface having a sounding body 8 for emitting sound waves mounted thereon and a through hole 61 formed in an area excluding the area where the sounding body 8 is mounted; and a case 5 that is provided on the rear surface of the circuit board 6 and has a sounding body accommodation part 56 that accommodates the sounding body 8, a hollow part 57 that is provided at a position corresponding to the through hole 61, and a sound transportation path 58 that connects the sounding body accommodation part 56 and the hollow part 57. The sound transportation path 58 has a horn-like shape in which the diameter of the sound transportation path 58 becomes gradually larger from the sounding body accommodation part 56 to the hollow part 57, such that the sound transportation path 58 is disposed along the direction in which the circuit board 6 extends.
