Disclosed is a vehicle intercepting mechanism. A flywheel (30) and a central gear (38) are both installed on a flywheel rotary shaft (37), and the flywheel rotary shaft (37) is installed on a base (36) via flywheel supports (35) on two sides. A fixed ring (31) is installed on the base (36) via a fixed ring support (34); a back plate (33) installed on one side of the fixed ring (31) is provided with six first shaft holes (54) circumferentially distributed at equal intervals; an outer peripheral surface of the fixed ring (31) is provided with six slide holes (55) circumferentially distributed at equal intervals; the back plate (33) corresponding to each of the slide holes (55) is respectively installed with a reset spring (45); and each of the slide holes (55) is correspondingly installed with a transmission mechanism (32) cooperating with a first shaft hole (54). A wheel restraint mechanism (59) is connected to the transmission mechanism (32) via a steel wire and drives the flywheel (30) to rotate. The mechanism can not only execute successful interception, but also minimize damage to a vehicle as much as possible.
