Disclosed is a vehicle interior component assembly in which a plurality of engagement holes (22) are formed through a component assembly (20), and a plurality of engaging hooks (30) inserted through an exposed surface (21) of a vehicle instrument panel (2) inside the vehicle so as to engage with the plurality of engagement holes (22) are formed to protrude from an assembly component (3). At least one of the plurality of engaging hooks (30) is a two-stage engaging hook (33a). A first separation prevention protrusion (31) for temporarily fixing the assembly component (3) at a partly-inserted position is formed at the tip end of the two-stage engaging hook (33a) in the direction of insertion thereof. In addition, a second separation prevention protrusion (32) for fixing the assembly component (3) at a final assembly position is formed further toward the rear end than the first separation protrusion (31) in the direction of insertion thereof.
