Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle interior component wherein excellent visual appearance is provided by evenly illuminating a cloth material. The vehicle interior component (10) according to the present invention is equipped with a lighting member (20) that emits light and an interior member (30) that has a translucent region (30a) and a non-translucent region (30b). The lighting member (20) has a light source (21) that produces light and a light guide plate (22) that causes the light entering a light inputting surface to diffusely reflect internally, and emerge from a light outputting surface, thereby irradiating the translucent region (30a) of the interior member (30). The translucent region (30a) of the interior member (30) is formed with a translucent core material (31) and a cloth material (32) provided on the surface of the core material (31).
