Abstract:
The upper panel (11) of an instrument panel comprises a base material (30) having a door part (35), and a surface covering material (20) bonded to the surface of the base material (30) via a bonding layer, the rear end of the door part (35) being opened by the expansion pressure of an airbag. The rear end of the door part (35), together with the rear end (32) of a base material main body (31), constitutes a base material rear end. The bonding force of the bonding layer is set so that when the door part (35) is pushed by the expansion pressure of the airbag, the surface covering material (20) that covers an adjacent part (34) adjacent to the door part (35) in the base material main body (31) separates from the base material main body (31) along with the opening action of the door part (35).
