Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a vehicle interior part at low cost without using resin film in the integral molding method. The vehicle interior part (1) manufacturing method is configured so as to comprise: a compression process for densification of a slab foam layer (32a) by heating and compressing a skin member (30) having a skin layer (31) and the slab foam layer (32a) and then cooling in the compressed state; a placement process for orienting the densified slab foam layer (32b) to the inside and disposing the skin member (30) in the cavity (512) of a forming die (51); an expanded foam molding process for injecting a liquid foam resin material (21) into the cavity (512) and performing expanded foam molding; and a removal process for removing the molding (10), in which the skin member (30) and the foamed molding (20) have been integrated, from the forming die (51).
