Abstract:
A control IC (140) controls an inverting switching regulator (120) in such a manner that lamp current ILED flowing in a light source (110) approaches a target amount IREF. The control IC changes the target amount IREF linearly relative to an input voltage VIN of the inverting switching regulator (120) within a range in which the input voltage VIN is lower than a predetermined threshold.
