Abstract:
Provided are a vehicle lamp controlling method and device for a motor vehicle. The method comprises: determining if a current moment falls within a preset daytime period (S201); if so, determining if a motor vehicle is located in a preset geographical location (202); and if the motor vehicle is located in the preset geographical location, controlling a headlamp of the motor vehicle to be turned on (203). The vehicle lamp controlling method and device can prevent a headlamp from being automatically turned on when a motor vehicle passes through the shade of a tree or passes by a high building, thereby preventing waste of energy.
