Abstract:
A vehicle lamp system (10) comprises: a lamp ECU (20) including a first failure detection unit (22) which detects a failure in the vehicle lamp system (10), and generates a first failure flag signal indicating the detection of the failure and first failure data related to the detected failure; a monitoring ECU (30) including a second failure detection unit (32) which detects a failure in the vehicle lamp system (10), and generates a second failure flag signal indicating the detection of the failure and second failure data related to the detected failure; a first transmission path (40) for transmitting the first failure flag signal and the second failure flag signal between the lamp ECU (20) and the monitoring ECU (30); and a second transmission path (50) for transmitting the first failure data and the second failure data between the lamp ECU (20) and the monitoring ECU (30).
