Abstract:
This vehicle lamp (10) is provided with a configuration in which a movable lens (20) that can move in a direction crossing the optical axis (Ax) of a projection lens (12) is disposed between the projection lens (12) and a light source. When the movable lens (20) is in a retracted position, light is made incident to the projection lens (12) along a light path indicated by a two-dot chain line, thereby forming a light distribution pattern that illuminates forward of the vehicle lamp. When the movable lens (20) moves to a light control position, light is made incident to the projection lens (12) along a light path indicated by a solid line (a light path deflected towards the right due to transmission through the movable lens (20)), thereby forming a light distribution pattern that is displaced to the right of the above-described light distribution pattern (that is, the position of maximum luminous intensity in the light distribution pattern is moved to the right).
