Abstract:
A low-beam light distribution pattern (PL1) having a horizontal and a diagonal cutoff line (CL1, CL2) is formed as an assembly of projected images (I1 to I4) of an upward light emitting surface (14a) formed by light from a light emitting element (14) that has been reflected by a reflector (16). In this case, on a reflecting surface (16a) of the reflector (16), a first reflection area (Z1) for forming the horizontal cutoff line (CL1) has a reflecting surface shape formed to align positions of the upper edge of a projected image (I1) on the same horizontal line, and a second reflection area (Z2) for forming the diagonal cutoff line (CL2) has a reflecting surface shape formed to align positions of the upper edge of a projected image (I2) in the same inclined line direction extending in a direction inclined with respect to the horizontal line. This makes it possible to form the low-beam light distribution pattern (PL1) without using a shade or a mirror member.
