Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle lamp capable of allowing heat to escape adequately from a light source by maintaining the secured state of a heat dissipating member with respect to a socket. A vehicle lamp 10 is provided with: a light source 21; a heat dissipating member 22 having an installation surface 43 to which the light source 21 is fitted, and which dissipates heat from the light source 21; and a socket 23 having an attachment surface 73 to which the heat dissipating member 22 is attached. The heat dissipating member 22 has a ring-shaped side surface 61 continuous with the installation surface 43; the socket 23 is provided with crimping projections 79 which project from the attachment surface 73, for securing the heat dissipating member22; and the heat dissipating member 22 is provided, on the side surface 61, with outlet/inlet ports (63, 64) for the molten metal that forms the heat dissipating member 22, and crimping plate-shaped portions 62 serving as locations to be supported by the crimping projections 79.
