Abstract:
This vehicle lamp comprises a primary lens that controls light exited from a light source to a light collecting direction and a projection lens that projects the light controlled by the primary lens, wherein the exit surface area of the primary lens is made larger than the incident surface area of the primary lens. This makes it possible to achieve reduction in size and also prevent the occurrence of glare because the light exited from the light source is made incident from the incident surface made smaller than the exit surface, is controlled to the light collecting direction by primary lens, and is exited from the exit surface, thereby making it easy for the light made incident from the incident surface to reach the exit surface and making it possible to shorten the distance from the light source to the projection lens.
