Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to appropriately illuminate a necessary region around a door unit. A vehicle lighting device (1) is provided with a lighting unit fitted to a door portion (5) that is arranged in an opening portion (3) of a vehicle (100) and is capable of moving in a direction intersecting with an opening direction of the opening portion (3) to open and close the opening portion (3). The lighting unit is capable of shining light under the opening portion (3), and is configured to shine light during opening and closing of the opening portion (3) including a period in which the door portion (5) moves, and not to shine light in a state in which the opening portion (3) is closed.
