Abstract:
A vehicle is provided with: an engine; a first motor generator connected to the output shaft of the engine; a second motor generator connected to wheels; a battery for storing electric power which is generated by the first motor generator and electric power which is generated by the second motor generator; and a control unit for controlling the engine, the first motor generator, and the second motor generator. During a reduction in the speed of the vehicle, the control unit performs control so that the lower the electric power regeneratively generated by the second motor generator, the higher the electric power generated by the first motor generator.
