Abstract:
This vehicle motor provided with an electromagnetic brake includes a driving motor, a rotary shaft for the driving motor, the electromagnetic brake, a motor case, a brake stator, a fixation plate, a brake armature, an energization member, a brake rotor, a positioning protruding section, a positioning member, and a sealing member. The electromagnetic brake and the brake stator are arranged on a side opposed to a load, with respect to the driving motor. The brake stator is fixed to the motor case. In the inner circumferential portion of the brake stator, a positioning recessed section is provided. The energization member energizes the brake armature. The brake rotor rotates integrally with the rotary shaft. The positioning protruding section protrudes from the motor case. The positioning member has an annular shape surrounding the positioning protruding section, and is fitted in the positioning recessed section of the brake stator. The sealing member seals between an end surface of the positioning member and the inner bottom surface of the positioning recessed section.
