The objective of the present invention is to control the output of a sound beam in the interior of a vehicle in accordance with the state of the interior of the vehicle. In the interior of a vehicle 100, a speaker array device 14 provided with a speaker array 145 in which a plurality of speakers are arranged is provided on an upper surface of a dashboard 133. A vehicle-mounted acoustic device 10 determines the status of occupants (for example the number of occupants and the positions in which the occupants are sitting) present in the interior of the vehicle 100. The vehicle-mounted acoustic device 10 supplies an input sound signal to some or all of the plurality of speakers in the speaker array 145 with timings corresponding to the status of the occupants, thereby causing a sound beam to be output by the speaker array device 14. The sound beam reaches the positions of the occupants either directly or having been reflected from glass members (for example side windows 122) provided in the vehicle 100.
