Abstract:
A vehicle-mounted battery system comprises: a battery; a relay for energizing or interrupting a connection between the battery and an inverter; a plurality of switches for switching the relay, the switches being provided on a current path; and a battery control device that monitors the state of the battery. The plurality of switches include a first switch provided inside the battery control device, and a second switch provided inside a vehicle control device that controls the travel of the vehicle. The first and second switches being connected to each other in series on the current path. The battery control device controlling the switching state of the first switch. The vehicle control device controlling the switching state of the second switch.
