Abstract:
A vehicle-mounted battery unit (10) equipped with an internal storage battery (41) having multiple unit cells. The vehicle-mounted battery unit is equipped with: a power supply terminal (TB) connected to the internal storage battery via a connecting path (LD), and connected to an external storage battery (40) on the outside of the battery unit; a switching unit (SW1) that is provided in the connecting path, and that switches between conducting and shutting off electricity by entering either a closed state or an open state; and an external charging terminal (16, 21, 23, 24) connected on the internal-storage-battery side of the switching unit in the connecting path.
