Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: wireless units (3a and 3b) which switch between frequencies for performing wireless communication with antennas (2a and 2b) using an ITS-use wireless frequency and a wireless LAN frequency; a parking assessment unit (6) which assesses whether or not a vehicle has parked; a parking position storage unit (6a) which stores, as a parking position, a position for which an assessment has been made by the parking assessment unit (6) that the vehicle has parked; and a wireless control unit (4) which controls the wireless units (3a and 3b) so that if the vehicle is travelling, ITS-use communication is performed using the antennas (2a and 2b), whereas if the vehicle is parked, switching is performed between ITS-use wireless communication and wireless LAN communication using the antennas (2a and 2b) in accordance with the parking position stored in the parking position storage unit (6a).
